Abstract

This internship report's main purpose is to analyse hare STARMAS doing business in Malaysian market with factors that affect the firme as it aims to e top producer of aluminium in Asian Pacific market. Data to make this report are collected from the company's annual recond an interview with sevenal STARMAS employees from various department. The research shows that STARMAS's seeks further growth by poing abroad. The research also indicates that STARMAS is experiencing declining export revenue for the past few years due to several factors that affects the company's ability to compete which can be explained by PESTEL and SWOT method of analysis. External factors such like competitors (especially Chinese based competitor), Inkmesian government policies, and Malaysian market characteristic give the most influence for STARMAS's operation in the Malaysian market. Several internal factors also affect STARMAS'S success in the competition, such like the brand strength and human neuror quality STARMAS is using direct export method which the company perceives to suite its current situation the most
