Abstract

Tugas akhir ini membahas pengembangan aplikasi web untuk melakukan proses pemesanan tempat secara online di Munchies Restaurant & Bar. Tempat • makan ini ramai dikunjungi oleh pelanggan, baik pada hari biasa atau hari libur. Dikarenakan keterbatasan dari kapasitas tempat rnakan, proses pemesanan temapat tidak dapat clilakukan dengan baik clan benar. Sering kali pelanggan menerima keterangan yang ticlak tepat sehubungan clengan pemesanan tempat mereka. Maka dari itu pihak tempat makan hendak membuat aplikasi web yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan di atas. Pengembangan aplikasi ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap, analisis dari aplikasi ini, mengumpkan data yang diperlukan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi, desain, dan konstruksi. Metodologi yang digw1akan untu.k: mengembangkan aplikasi yang diusulkan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan menggunakan metode prototyping. Aplikasi dimodelkan dengan menggunakan UML yang mencangkup activity dan use case diagram. Sela.in itu Costumer Relationship Management (CRM) digunakan untuk memadukan proses fungsi internal dan jaringan ekstemal untuk menciptakan dan menyampaikan nilai kepada pelanggan yang dapat memberi.k:an keuntungan dalam hal pemasaran dan pelayanan. Pengujian aplikasi dilaku.k:an dengan menggunakan black box testing dan skenario testing. Aplikasi yang diusulkan dapat menghasilan sebuah apli.k:asi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan pemesanan tempat secara online dengan memilih tempat duduk, melaku.k:an penilaian terhadap makanan dan minuman, melakukan survei, serta dapat menggunakan deposit sebagai bentuk keanggotaan. / This final project concerns the develop a web based application for online reservation at Munchies Restaurant & Bar. The restaurant is usually visited by costumers during weekdays or holidays, and due to restaurant capacity limitations, reservations are often not conducted properly. On some occasions, customers even receive false information regarding their reservation. Therefore, the restaurant decides to build a web based application to overcome these problems. The development of this application consists of several stages, namely the analysis of the application, collecting data, design, and construction. The methodology used to develop the proposed application is Rapid Application Development (RAD) specifically the prototyping methods. The application is constructed using PHP ad MySQL. Application development modeled using UML which includes activity diagrams and use case diagrams. Additionally, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is used applied integrate internal process with external network functions to create and deliver value to customers that can give an advantage in term of marketing and service. Application testing is conducted using black box testing and scenario testing. The proposed application will be able to support the restaurant in providing customers with an online reservation system with options to select seat, make an assessment of the food and beverage, conduct surveys, and accommodate a membership program using money deposit.
