The function of this research is to know the effects of merger that has brought towards a company. Merger is where two or more companies combine as one entity and seek for benefit together. The companies mentioned in this final project are companies that are registered in the Indonesia exchange market. Most of the companies mentioned in this final project are companies that merged throughout the year 2014-2017. This research analyzes the changes in financial performance of a company by measuring the changes in current ratio, return on investment, return on asset, net profit margin, gross profit margin, debt to equity, total asset turnover, fixed asset turnover and G-score. The data collection method is through the annual financial report acquired from (www.idx.co.id)( https://www.capitaliq.com/) and the website of the each respected company chosen to be researched. The result of this research shows the changes of financial performance before and post-merger of a company and the possibility of bankruptcy through calculation of Grover-scoring(G-score)method.
