Abstract

Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu pelajaran wajib di setiap sekolah di Indonesia, khususnya di sekolah-sekolah berbasis internasional yang mayoritas siswanya tidak menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia menjadi Bahasa kesehariannya. Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan, dapat dilihat siswa-siswa di Sekolah Beacon Academy memiliki kendala dalam memahami teks narasi Panjang yang membutuhkan pemahaman kebahasaan yang mendalam. Dalam usaha memahami sebuah bacaan, siswa lebih tertarik untuk melakukan aktifitas yang interaktif dan lebih menarik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui lebih dalam apakah media pembelajaran digital storytelling berbasis augmented reality sesuai dan menarik dipakai dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VI untuk materi Cerita Fiksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dari Borg dan Gall dengan sedikit penyesuaian. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui metode observasi, wawancara langsung dan tidak langsung serta pengisian angket kuisioner yang hasilnya dinalisa secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Dalam proses pengembangan dilakukan empat kali uji coba, yaitu uji coba awal, uji coba lapangan, uji coba pelaksanaan lapangan, dan uji coba produk akhir. Uji coba lapangan melibatkan 5 orang responden, Uji coba pelaksanaan lapangan melibatkan 10 orang responden, dan uji coba produk akhir melibatkan 40 orang responden. Hasil Analisis menunjukan tingkat kesesuaian produk DST berbasis AR sebesar 83% dan tingkat kemenarikan produk DST berbasis AR sebesar 85%. Dengan demikian produk ini dikatakan layak dan dapat menjadi media belajar baru dalam pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. / Indonesian language lessons are one of the compulsory lessons in every school in Indonesia, especially in international-based schools where the majority of students do not use Indonesian as their daily language. Based on the needs analysis, it can be seen that students at the Beacon Academy School have problems in understanding Long narrative texts that require deep linguistic understanding. In an effort to understand reading, students are more interested in engaging in interactive and more interesting activities. The purpose of this research is to find out more about whether the digital learning media based on augmented reality is appropriate and interesting to use in learning Indonesian in grade VI for fiction story material. This study uses the research and development approach of Borg and Gall with a few adjustments. Collecting data in this study through the method of observation, direct and indirect interviews, and filling out a questionnaire whose results were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. In the development process, four trials were carried out, namely initial trials, field trials, field implementation trials, and final product trials. Field trials involved 5 respondents, field trials involved 10 respondents, and final product trials involved 40 respondents. The results of the analysis show that the suitability level of AR-based DST products is 83% and the attractiveness level of AR-based DST products is 85%. Thus this product is said to be feasible and can become a new learning medium in Indonesian language lessons.
