Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Hubungan Locus of Control dan Anxiety pada Perawat yang menangani COVID-19. Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena dimana saat ini sedang berkembangnya virus baru di Indonesia dengan penyebaran yang sangat cepat yaitu virus COVID19. Perawat merupakan salah satu pihak yang paling sering bertatapan secara langsung dengan pasien-pasien COVID-19 dan sangat rentan untuk terpapar virus. Oleh karena itu, mereka lebih rentan untuk merasakan anxiety di masa pandemi ini. Locus of control merupakan salah satu variable yang dapat dikaitkan dengan anxiety. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel perawat yang telah aktif menangani pasien COVID-19. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Internality, Powerful Other and Chance Scale dan Zung Self Rating Anxiety Scale. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan melalu penelitian ini adalah dimensi internality dari internal locus of control berkorelasi negative signifikan dengan variabel anxiety. Di sisi lain variabel powerful other dan chance dari external locus of control berkorelasi positif signifikan dengan variabel anxiety.
