Abstract
Laporan kerja praktek ini akan membahas mengenai kerja praktek yang dilakukan penulis di proyek UPH Dormitory yang berlokasi di UPH Building Complex, Lippo Karawaci. Kerja praktek yang dilakukan penulis berlangsung selama 2 bulan, berawal dari 8 Januari hingga 8 Maret 2008. Dari pengalaman ini, penulis menemukan pengalaman pekerjaan konstruksi yang nyata di lapangan. Proses-proses konstruksi yang berlangsung di lapangan menjadi suatu pembelajaran berharga bagi penulis. Salah satu proses yang menarik dari pekerjaan konstruksi di proyek ini adalah dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan pelat dinding pracetak dengan bahan blok beton ringan. Pada laporan ini pekerjaan pelat dinding dengan sistem pracetak tersebut akan dibahas lebih mendalam pada bab khusus. Dengan kerja praktek ini, maka diharapkan penulis dapat lebih memahami dunia teknik sipil yang ada secara langsung di lapangan.
