Abstract

Salah satu teknologi pengujian tanah di lapangan yang dikembangkan akhir-akhir ini di Indonesia adalah piezocone. Piezocone merupakan penetrometer elektrik yang dilengkapi dengan elemen filter sehingga dapat mengukur tekanan air yang terjadi dalam tanah. Diharapkan dengan adanya penulisan ini dapat memberikan penjelasan umum mengenai piezocone dan metode-metode pengolahan data agar piezocone dapat digunakan secara lazim di Indonesia. Penulisan dimulai dari studi terhadap literatur-literatur yang terkait. Lalu penelitian dilanjutkan dengan studi kasus pengolahan data CPTu (cone penetration test with pore pressure) pada tanah lempung daerah Jakarta Utara dengan elemen filter piezocone berada dibelakang konus (u2). Kemudian dilakukan perbandingan pengolahan data dari berbagai metode. Penulisan ini memberikan hasil berupa penjelasan umum mengenai piezocone seperti konfigurasi alat, prosedur pengujian, prosedur penjenuhan, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengukuran dan interpretasi, serta metode pengolahan data. Selain itu, penulisan ini juga memberikan metode-metode yang digunakan untuk menginterpretasi parameter-parameter tanah khususnya parameter teknik dari tanah lempung yang diaplikasikan dalam studi kasus. Studi kasus ini dimulai dari pembahasan mengenai parameter undrained shear strength, sensitivitas tanah, disipasi, koefisien konsolidasi, hingga overconsolidation ratio (OCR). / One of the latest technology in soil testing that have been developed recently is piezocone. Piezocone is an electronic penetrometer equipped with filter element that can determine the pore water pressure in the soil. With this article, hopefully this article can give information about piezocone and the methods for evaluating the data,so that it can be a common use in Indonesia.. The article started from study of literatures that were provided. After that, the article followed by case study of evaluating CPTu (cone penetration test with pore pressure) data of clay soil from an area in North Jakarta using piezocone with filter element at the back of the cone (u2). Finally, the methods of evaluation data would be compared with each methods. The results of this study were about the general information of piezocone from the configuration, the procedures of testing, the procedures of saturation, factors that can effect the measurement and interpretation, and also methods of evaluating CPTu data. Besides that, this article also give the methods that were used in this study case for interpretation of soil parameters especially in clay. The soil parameters were about undrained shear strength, sensitivity, disipation, coefisien of consolidation, and overconsolidation ratio (OCR).
