Abstract
Dalam perencanaan aspal beton, saat ini banyak digunakan filler untuk meningkatkan Stabilitas dan Marshall Quotient pada campuran aspal beton. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan ampas kerikil untuk pengisi rongga dalam campuran agar dapat meningkatkan daya ikat aspal dan stabilitas aspal beton dan kemudian dibandingkan dengan campuran aspal beton tanpa menggunakan ampas kerikil. Di sini aspal yang digunakan adalah aspal retona. Untuk persentase agregat digunakan metode statistik lalu dibandingkan dengan standar.
Dari hasil penelitian, didapat penggunaan ampas kerikil sebagai filler ternyata dapat meningkatkan stabilitas dan Marshall Quotient hingga 30% pada campuran aspal beton. / In the asphalt concrete mix planning, lots of people use filler to increase stability and Marshall Quotient for asphalt concrete mix . In this research, gravel ash is used as mineral filler to fill in the voids in mixture, so it can improve asphalt concrete stability and bonding power, and then this asphalt concrete mix is compared to asphalt concrete mix without filler. In this research Retona Asphalt is used. To calculate the aggregate percentage, statistical methods are used. Then the results are compared to SNI.
As conclusion, gravel ash as the filler of asphalt concrete mixture is able to increase the stability and Marshall Quotient up to 30% of the asphalt concrete mix.
