Abstract
Beberapa hal yang dianggap menjadi masalah yang muncul dalam pemeliharan ikan arwana di tambak adalah pencampuran antara air lama di dalam penampungan dan air baru dari sungai dan pembuangan air hujan permukaan agar air tidak tergenang dan masuk ke kolam ikan.
Untuk masalah pencampuran air dalam penampungan air, dipelajari dengan pembuatan model percobaan di Universitas Pelita Harapan dengan skala 1:25. Kemudian dilakukan percobaan dengan menggunakan delapan model yang bervariasi dari pendorong air, letak pendorong air, dan ada tidaknya streamlining Dari hasil percobaan didapatkan model dengan pompa, yang tersebar di lima titik serta penambahan streamlining, menghasilkan waktu yang tercepat untuk satu putaran 38 meter.
Untuk menanggulangi masalah pembuangan air hujan antara kolam akan dibuat sistem drainase. Pertama tama dilakukan analisis curah hujan setempat menggunakan metode Van Breen dengan persamaan Talbot. Kemudian dari hasil analisis ditentukan dimensi saluran berdasarkan debit puncak yaitu untuk PUH dua tahun adalah 0,005 m3/detik dengan dimensi lebar 30 cm dan kedalaman 15 cm, debit puncak PUH lima tahun adalah 0,006 m3/detik dengan lebar 31 cm dan kedalaman 15,5 cm, dan debit puncak PUH sepuluh tahun adalah 0,007 m3/detik dengan lebar 32 cm dan kedalaman 16 cm dengan kemiringan 0,015% dan panjang saluran 56 m. / here are some issues regarding the caring of the arwana that can be considered as problems, such as the mixing of old water in the reservoir and new water from the river and the rain water drainage system between the ponds.
The water mixing problem in the reservoir was studied by constructing a model at Pelita Harapan University with the scale of 1:25. Then some experiments was done using eight various models of tools, location of the tools, and adding the streamlining. From the experiments, it can be concluded that the model which uses pump, located in five locations in the model and the addition of streamlining resulted in the fastest time for one lap of 38 meter.
In order to overcome the the drainage problem, the drainage system between ponds will be made. First, the rainfall frequency was done using Van Breen method with Talbot equation. Then the dimension of the drainage system was acquired from the result of rainfall analysis regarding the maximum discharge for return period of two years is 0,005 m3/s and the dimension are 30 cm wide and 15 cm deep, for return period of five years is 0,006 m3/s and the dimensions are 31 cm wide and 15,5 cm deep, and for the return period of ten years is 0,007 m3/s and the dimensions are 32 cm wide and 16 cm deep with the slope of 15 cm to one kilometers and the length of the drainage system is 56 m.
