Abstract

Tanah merupakan material bangunan yang sangat penting karena tanah berfungsi untuk mendukung semua beban bangunan yang ada diatasnya. Di kawasan Jakarta sering kali ditemukan tanah dengan kekuatan dan daya dukung yang kurang baik. Tanah dengan kekuatan dan daya dukung yang kurang baik ini dapat distabilisasi dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah dengan menambahkan bahan pencampur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan dan daya dukung tanah dengan melakukan penambahan semen. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari jumlah kadar semen yang digunakan dan lamanya perendaman yang dilakukan maka kadar semen yang digunakan adalah sebesar 7%, 10 % dan 15% dan dengan lama perendaman selama 3 hari, 7 hari dan 14 hari. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan nilai CBR dan kuat geser tanah sejalan dengan peningkatan kadar semen dan bertambahnya lama waktu perendaman yang dilakukan dan kadar semen optimum untuk stabilisasi tanah lanau adalah antara 8% sampai dengan 10%. / Soil is a building material which is very important because soil serves to support all existing buildings burden on it. In Jakarta we usually found soil with poor strength and poor bearing capacity. This soil can be stabilized in various ways, one of which is to add some additive. This research is used to increase the strength and bearing capacity of soil by adding cement to the soil. To determine the effect of the amount of cement used and duration of soaking is done then the amount of cement used is equal to 7%, 10% and 15% and with soaking time for 3 days, 7 days and 14 days. The results of this research is to increase the value of CBR and soil shear strength along with the increase of cement percentage and soaking time done to the soil and the optimum cement content for silt stabilization is between 8% to 10%.
