Since last year, a long, unsolved debate has been there among the fans of JKT48 on Twitter, and they are still debating. This debate is about the existence of Idolgraphers, the Idol Photographers in JKT48 fandom. The numbers of Idolgraphers going to JKT48‟s events have recently been increasing, and at the same time, the numbers of the „traditional‟ fans, who bring their lightsticks, have apparently been decreasing. This debate is allegedly caused by some tweets from fans who are aware of that unusual change. Eric Crow, the fans field coordinator of most of JKT48‟s events, is also aware of that change, and tweeted out his opinions on it. His tweet is now one of the most highlighted tweet in the community, it‟s due to his popularity and reputation of being a good fan and a good field coordinator. His tweet is now considered as the one that caused this long, unsolved debate among the JKT48‟s fans, yet Eric denies that it does. The researcher here is trying find out what is actually happening behind that tweet, or is there any communication problem right there, if there is, that what and how does it cause the debate between the 2 sides, the ones who are with the Idolgraphers, and the ones who are against the Idolgraphers.
