The quality of the communication are very influenced by the extent to which parents communicate against the child. The importance of the role of communication in the family needs to be built within the framework of the mindset of a child and build a child’s soul to conform with expectations of parents. Democratic pattern is one of the patterns that are used in communication between parents and children. As well as supported by the effectiveness of interpersonal communication DeVito: 285-291 : openness, empathy, supportiveness, possitiveness and equality. Therefore, the reseracher do the research to know how democratic communication pattern of parents in learning children grade 5 Al-Ikhlas in South Jakarta. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with case study research methods. Data collection research done by primary data, i.e. interviews and observation of non-participants as well as secondary data in the form of aricles, journals, books and internet sites that deal. Interviews are conducted to some mother representative of class 5 Al-ikhlas in South Jakarta. The result of this research it can be concluded that parents in educating children with the use of democratic pattern can enhance the good achievements of the children. As well as supported by the attitude of the parents possitive communication in learning of children.
