Abstract

Education is closely related to the learning process. A good learning process can occur when learners have a desire to learn. The desire can arise if the learner has a curiosity. Some of the factors that affect curiosity are creativity, self regulation and self efficacy. This study aims to examine the effects of creativity, selfregulation and self-efficacy against curiosity. The associative method used in this study to determine the relationship between two or more variables. This study uses three independent variables such as creativity, self regulation and self efficacy and one dependent variable that is curiosity. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to Tunas Bangsa Sunter Christian High School students as many as 38 people. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics consisting of several tests, namely normality, homogeneity, multicollinearity, simple and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that creativity had positive effect on students' curiosity of 60.7%, self regulation had positive effect on students' curiosity of 18.3%, self efficacy had no effect on students' curiosity and creativity, regulation and self efficacy simultaneously has a positive effect on curiosity of 64.4%. / Pendidikan berkaitan erat dengan proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran yang baik dapat terjadi ketika peserta didik memiliki keinginan untuk belajar. Keinginan tersebut dapat muncul apabila peserta didik memiliki rasa ingin tahu dalam dirinya. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi rasa ingin tahu adalah kreativitas, regulasi diri dan efikasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kreativitas, regulasi diri dan efikasi diri terhadap rasa ingin tahu. Metode asosiatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh atau hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga variabel bebas yaitu kreativitas, regulasi diri dan efikasi diri serta satu variabel terikat yaitu rasa ingin tahu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada siswasiswi SMA Kristen Tunas Bangsa Sunter sebanyak 38 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yang terdiri dari beberapa pengujian, yaitu normalitas, homogenitas, multikolinieritas, analisis regresi sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas berpengaruh positif terhadap rasa ingin tahu siswa sebesar 60,7%, regulasi diri berpengaruh positif terhadap rasa ingin tahu siswa sebesar 18,3%, efikasi diri tidak berpengaruh terhadap rasa ingin tahu siswa serta kreativitas, regulasi dan efikasi diri secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap rasa ingin tahu sebesar 64,4%.
