Abstract
Continuous growth of the internet also influencing the growth of transportation
industry. The fact that the migration of consumer preference from conventional to
online is the proof of it and encourage the existing of conventional transportation
services to collaborate with application-based online transportation services. This
is to provide a better mobility services to passengers to match with their lifestyle,
needs and preferences. The objective of this study is to discover and understand
the factors that affect consumers’ intentions to purchase transportation services
online. This study was made based on questionnaire results of 239 Uber’s user that
domiciles in Jakarta. This study shows that Perceived relative advantages,
Compatibility, Trust, Perceived Risk, Communicability, Perceived Behavioral
Control and Attitude have influence on Consumers' Intention to Purchase
Transportation Service Online. / Perkembangan internet yang terus meningkat membuat industri jasa transportasi
juga berpengaruh. Hal ini terlihat dari pergantian pemilihan masyarakat dari
menggunakan jasa transportasi konvensional ke jasa transportasi online. Melihat
pergantian pilihan penumpang ini, juga membuat adanya jasa transportasi
konvensional yang berkolaborasi dengan jasa transportasi berbasis aplikasi untuk
dapat memberikan pelayanan mobilitas yang lebih baik lagi kepada penumpangnya
yang sesuai dengan lifestyle, kebutuhan dan preferensi para penumpang. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah yang merupakan faktor-faktor yang
mempengaruhi consumers’ intention dalam membeli jasa transportasi online.
Penelitian dilakuan pada 239 pengguna Uber yang berdomisili di Jakarta. Hasil
penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Perceived relative advantages, Compatibility,
Trust, Perceived Risk, Communicability, Perceived Behavioral Control dan
Attitude memiliki pengaruh terhadap consumers’ intention dalam membeli jasa
transportasi online.
