Abstract

Saat ini penanaman dengan cara hidroponik sudah banyak diterapkan sebagai alternatif penanaman di bidang agrikultur. Penanaman hidroponik tidak menggunakan media tanah melainkan air yang berisi nutrisi. Pada umumnya, petani hidroponik akan menjaga dan mengatur kondisi larutan nutrisi dangan ketat untuk memastikan larutan nutrisi selalu memenuhi kebutuhan tanaman. Proses pengontrolan inilah yang menjadi salah satu permasalahan dalam penananman hidroponik karena kondisi larutan nutrisi cepat mengalami evaporasi sehingga petani harus mengecek larutan nutrisi secara manual dan berulang-ulang. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa sebuah sistem berbasis website yang bertujuan untuk mengotomatiskan proses penanaman hidroponik, dimana petani dapat memonitor dan mengontrol penanamannya melalui website tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan sistem adalah metode prototyping. Pengembangan sistem ini dibuat menggunakan UML yaitu use case diagram, activity diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, dan table relationship diagram. Selain itu struktur dan isi website dibangun menggunakan HTML, CSS, PHP, dan JavaScript. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu petani dalam mengelola penanaman hidroponiknya dengan lebih baik. Data-data tentang larutan nutrisi, volume air, dan cahaya tanaman dapat diakses dengan mudah melalui website. Pekerjaan manual yang dilakukan petani seperti proses pengairan, dapat dilakukan secara otomatis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas. / Currently, the hydroponic plant has been widely applied as an alternative planting in agriculture. The hydroponic plant does not use soil as a growing medium but water which contains hydroponic nutrients. In general, hydroponic farmers will strictly maintain the conditions of nutrient solution to ensure that the nutrient solution always meets the needs of the plant. This control process is one of the problems in hydroponic farms because the nutrient solution evaporates rapidly, so farmers need to check the nutrient solution manually and repeatedly. The final result of this research is a website-based system that aims to automate the hydroponic planting process, where farmers can monitor and control the process through the website. The method used in system design is the prototyping method. The development of this system is made using UML which consists use case diagrams, activity diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and table relationship diagrams. Besides, the structure and content of the website are built using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. This information system is expected to help farmers to manage their hydroponic plants better. Data about nutrient solution, water volume and grow light can be accessed easily on the website. The manual work such as the irrigation process, can be carried out automatically to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
