Land is important elements for human life. Considering that there is a lot of land ownership that is controlled by community and the need for an infrastructure development, land procurement is needed for public interest. The problem statement is how to provide compensation for development of Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway Trase in terms of Law Number 2 of 2012 and how the legal considerations and Judges' Decision in the Bandung District Decision Number 385/Pdt.G/2019/PN.Bdg., Juncto Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 500K/Pdt/2020 relating to provision of compensation. This type of research used here is normative legal research, with the nature of analytic descriptive research, using secondary data. The collection method /technique used in this thesis is literature study, with an approach to legal principles, case study and qualitative data analysis. The results of the research in this thesis are that provision of compensation in land procurement for development of Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway Trase of land owned by Jimmy Namara has not been implemented optimally, because there are still mismatches in land procurement procedures. Legal considerations and Judges' Decisions in the Bandung District Court Decision Number 385/Pdt.G/2019/PN.Bdg., have been implemented properly, because they have considered the amount of compensation that is fair and proper. The considerations and decisions of the Judges in the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number 500 K/Pdt/2020 do not reflect the principles of land procurement because they do not pay attention to the mismatch of land procurement.
