Abstract

Bladder adalah auxiliary material untuk membentuk bagian inner tire. Proses pembuatan memerlukan steam (uap panas) sebagai sumber energi. Parameter yang dikontrol adalah temperatur mold. Aktualnya proses pengukuran temperatur mold manual menggunakan thermocouple surface dan alat bantu tangga portable untuk menjangkau objek mold atas dan core karena konstruksi mesin yang tinggi yaitu 5 meter. Potensi kecelakaan menjadi tinggi karena operator dapat terjatuh dan kontak langsung dengan surface mold. Losses Bladder akan terjadi karena problem deformasi Bladder (perubahan dimensi) yang disebabkan oleh temperatur yang tidak stabil. Perancangan yang dilakukan adalah dengan membuat sistem alarm dan monitoring temperatur menggunakan prinsip Internet of Things (IoT) untuk mentransfer informasi, sensor Thermocouple type K sebagai pembacaan temperatur dan pengendalian alarm pada Arduino Uno yang hasilnya digunakan untuk pemrosesan sistem. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa pembacaan nilai temperatur dengan menggunakan sensor thermocouple type K menunjukkan pembacaan yang linier suhu 30°C sampai dengan 200°C. Dengan rata – rata error pembacaan pada sensor Upper mold dan lower mold masing – masing 0.81% dan 0.82%. Angka error tersebut didapatkan dari hasil kalibrasi sensor yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier. Dengan demikian pembacaan sensor pada prototype mendekati nilai temperatur aktual mold yang sebenarnya. Selain itu sistem pengolahan data sudah dapat dilakukan dengan penerapan prinsip IoT pada prototype dengan menggunakan modul ESP8266 untuk koneksi internet dan platform Blynk yang dilengkapi aplikasi pada smartphone yang terintegrasi dengan Microsoft Excel untuk media data logging / Bladder is an auxiliary material used to form the inner tire. The manufacturing process requires steam as an energy source. The controlled parameter is mold temperature. The actual process of measuring manual mold temperature using surface thermocouple and portable ladder aids to reach the upper mold objects and cores due to the high construction of the machine is 5 meters. The potential for accidents becomes high because the operator can fall and direct contact with the surface mold. Bladder losses will occur due to Bladder deformation problems (dimensional changes) caused by unstable temperatures. The design is to create an alarm system and temperature monitoring using the principle of Internet of Things (IoT) to transfer information, Type K thermocouple sensor as temperature reading and alarm control on Arduino Uno whose results are used for system processing. From the research conducted, it was obtained that the reading of temperature value using Type K thermocouple sensor shows a linier reading of 30°C to 200°C with average error on the Upper mold and lower mold sensors 0.81% and 0.82%, respectively. The error number is obtained from the result of sensor calibration that has been done using linier regression method. So that the sensor reading on the prototype is close to the actual temperature value of the actual mold. In addition, data processing system can be done by applying IoT principles in prototypes by using ESP8266 module for internet connection and Blynk platform equipped with application on smartphones integrated with Microsoft Excel for data logging.
