Abstract

XDT-3 merupakan mesin uji ban yang beroperasi menggunakan kontrol manual yaitu menggunakan potensiometer dan timer untuk mengatur parameter, sehingga mengakibatkan nilai uji berubah di luar spesifikasi baik kurang maupun melebihi nilai parameter yang seharusnya sesuai standar yang berlaku. Selain itu pada saat terjadi kerusakan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk melakukan perbaikan karena pengkabelan yang rumit. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem kontrol kecepatan dan beban uji yang otomatis. Perancangan yang dilakukan adalah membuat sistem kontrol kecepatan dan beban berbasis PLC Mitsubishi sebagai kontrol utama yang terintegrasi dengan HMI sebagai user interface untuk memasukkan nilai parameter tes serta memantau jalannya pengujian ban. kalibrasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear sederhana. Nilai error terbesar untuk pembacaan nilai aktual beban dari 7.80% direduksi menjadi 2.20% dan nilai error terbesar untuk pembacaan nilai aktual kecepatan dari 12.24 km/jam direduksi menjadi 0.54 km/jam. Penelitian ini sudah berhasil dan dapat diimplementasikan untuk pengujian ban secara otomatis. Selain itu, kebutuhan komponen dapat dikurangi dan mempermudah dalam proses perbaikan mesin (troubleshooting)/XDT-3 is a tire testing machine that operates using manual controls, namely using a potentiometer and timer to set parameters, resulting in the test value changing outside the specifications, either less or exceeding the parameter value that should be according to the applicable standards. In addition, when a breakdown occurs, it takes a long time to repair because of the complicated wiring. Therefore we need an automatic speed and load control system. The design carried out is to make a Mitsubishi PLC-based speed and load control system as the main control integrated with HMI as a user interface for entering test parameter values and monitoring the course of tire testing. The calibration is done using a simple linear regression method. The largest error value for reading the actual value of the load from 7.80% is reduced to 2.20% and the largest error value for the reading of the actual value of speed from 12.24 km / h is reduced to 0.54 km / hour. This research has been successful and can be implemented for automatic tire testing. In addition, component requirements can be reduced and simplify the machine repair process (troubleshooting).
