One of the areas of life that has increased in Indonesia is the field of law. The implementation of law in Indonesia is proven by legal products such as laws. In this world of digitization, law is also developing with the analysis of online buying and selling transactions. Online buying and selling transactions require laws to protect consumers and businesses. Indonesia related to consumer protection, namely in the Consumer Protection Law. The main problem in consumer protection is consumer protection is the inclusion of standard clauses. The author is interested in discussing further in this thesis regarding the inclusion of standard clauses in online buying and selling transactions. The purpose of this research is to solve legal problems related to the inclusion of standard clauses in online buying and selling transactions. Standard clauses are terms or conditions that are determined unilaterally by a business actor. The existence of this standard clause can harm consumers and control it as a transfer of responsibility for business actors in online buying and selling transactions. The author uses a normative research methodology and the data used is secondary data. Secondary data in this study were obtained from literature study in the form of laws, journals or legal literature, and other written legal materials related to this thesis. Writing based on the Consumer Protection Law, there are provisions or provisions regarding standard clauses that are prohibited from being included.
