Abstract

Organization as the process of determining and grouping the work that need to be done, establishin, delegating authority and responsibility with a view to allowing people to cooperate effectively in achieving goals (Loius A. Allen (2014)). To achieve the goals of an organization must run effectively. Effective organizations are organizations that have no conflicts, coordination between members is good and have high motivation, the organization continues to grow in achieving goals and objectives, organizations that can make decisions agile and accurately. If these things can not be fulfilled then the organization must be reviewed and restructured. This study aims to determine the structure of industrial engineering organization is in accordance with the applicable rules, knowing the job description that align with the vision, mission, value and key strategy of the company, the effectiveness of restructuring through job evaluation, the effectiveness of communication due to organizational restructuring, the effectiveness of restructuring organization through focus group discussion, to know the effect of restructuring on company performance. The results of the report show that by restructuring the role of industrial engineering organization to the headquareters of organization can be realized as expected, and can meet the requirements as an effective organization through the results of focus group discussion and achievement of the performance of its headquareters organization. / Organisasi sebagai proses penentuan dan pengelompokan pekerjaan yang akan dikerjakan, menetapkan dan melimpahkan wewenang dan tanggung jawab dengan maksud untuk memungkinkan orang – orang bekerja sama secara efektif dalam mencapai tujuan (Loius A. Allen (2014)). Untuk mencapai tujuan suatu organisasi harus berjalan dengan efektif. Organisasi yang efektif adalah organisasi yang tidak ada konflik, organisasi yang koordinasi antar anggota berjalan baik dan mempunyai motivasi yang tinggi, organisasi yang terus berkembang dalam mencapai goals dan objective nya, organisasi yang dapat mengambil keputusan secara cepat dan akurat. Jika hal – hal tersebut tidak dapat dipenuhi maka organisasi tersebut perlu direview atau direstrukturisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur organisasi industrial engineering sudah sesuai dengan kaedah yang berlaku, mengetahui job description sudah align dengan visi, misi, value dan key strategy perusahaan, mengetahui keefektifan restrukturisasi melalui job evaluation, mengetahui keefektifan komunikasi akibat adanya restrukturisasi organisasi, mengetahui keefektifan restrukturisasi organisasi melalui focus group discussion dan mengetahui efek restrukturisasi terhadap performance perusahaan. Hasil laporan ilmiah perusahaan menunjukkan bahwa dengan dilakukan restrukturisasi peran organisasi industrial engineering kepada organisasi induk dapat terwujud sebagaimana yang diharapkan, dan dapat memenuhi persyaratan sebagai organisasi yang efektif melalui hasil focus group discussion dan pencapaian performance organisasi induknya.
