This fieldwork report is written based on Network Analysis in Advanced Computer Laboratory in Universitas Pelita Harapan, Karawaci. The laboratory is divided into three groups: basic computer laboratory, advanced laboratory dan the research and development laboratory. Computer laboratories were divided for the purpose to minimize the performace of the network. For this fieldwork, the goal is to analyse the computer network so the performance can be optimized. This report discusses about what kind of method are used to analyse and what process need to be done, such as identifying the main problem, create a physical network documentation, measure the network performance, purpose an alternative solution to the problem, and improving the network itself. As the conclusion, measuring performance of a network consists of only a few computer connected to each other is hard to do. The greater number of computers will give a better result. Although the improvement of the network performance can only be a slightly difference, now people will be able to communicate faster through the network.
