Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dampak dari andemi COVID-19 terhadap return saham di bursa efek di Indonesia. Pandemi COVID-19 merupakan suatu peristiwa besar significant event) yang terjadi secara sangat cepat dengan dampak yang cukup masif, termasuk kepada pasar saham. Data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Bursa Efek Indonesia selama period 2 Maret - 27 Oktober 2020. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Pandemi COVID-19 tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham harian di bursa efek di Indonesia. Lebih lanjut, hasil penelitian pada masing-masing industri menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya ‘gaining from loss’ yang terjadi pada salah satu industri saja. Penelitian juga menemukan adanya dampak signifikan secara positif dari bantuan stimulus yang diberikan oleh Pemerintah untuk menangani Pandemi COVID-19 terhadap return saham harian. / This study aims to examine the impact of andemi COVID-19 on stock returns on stock exchanges in Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic is a large, significant event that occurs very quickly with a fairly massive impact, including on the stock market. The data used in this research is data companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period March 2 - October 27 2020. The test results show that the COVID-19 pandemic does not have a significant effect on daily stock returns on stock exchanges in Indonesia. Furthermore, the results of research in each industry show that there is no gaining from loss that occurs in just one industry. The research also found that there was a significant positive impact of the stimulus assistance provided by the Government to deal with the COVID-19 Pandemic on daily stock returns.
