In this era of globalization, foreign investment is taking place to carry out economic development. Foreign investment considered as the motor of a national development. With the support of the government regulation, foreign investment can be managed to become a benefit for a state. A foreign investment company that engages in a field of oil palm plantation requires a warehouse in order to carry out it’s business activities. To build a warehouse, foreign investment companies must obtain a permit before starting the warehouse building construction and a permit to use of a building that will function as a warehouse. Writing this paper aims to describe the comparison of regulation governing the procedure of warehouse building construction permits for foreign investment company that engages in a field of oil palm plantation in Indonesia before and after the existence of Job Creation Law Number 11 of 2020. This paper will also aim to describe the comparison of the implementation of obtaining warehouse building construction permit in Indonesia, India, and Malaysia. To supplement the results of the study, the author uses the type of normative-empirical research using the Act as a source of law and interviews as sources of support theory. The research approach that author use is comparative approach and systematic approach.
