Abstract

PT. Matahari Putra Prima, Tbk. as one of the Indonesia’s big companies with the vision to become Indonesians Top Retailer always try to step ahead in order to increase their professionality and to increase comsumer’s satisfaction. PT. Matahari Putra Prima, Tbk., want to change their recording system for their hardware and software failure complain form all branches in Indonesia to be more computerized. The goal of this system is to give a large amount of the storage capacity for saving hardware and software complain that the headquarters receive everyday from all branches and to handle the complain as soon as possible. The system being used by PT Matahari Putra Prima, Tbk. before using the Matahari Hotline Care Application (MHCA) is manually. Users write down the complain data in a piece of paper and keep the paper as a record. This system is left behind because it has many defects, some of the defects are the possibilities of the paper to be thrown away, so no one can follow up the complain and inefficiency on time consuming to find the paper in lots of file boxes. MHCA is needed by PT. Matahari Putra Prima, Tbk. to store hardware or software failure complain directly at the database on the server. Users just need to fill in the form according to the hardware or software complain that they get. With using MHCA, users can keep hardware and software complain at the database on the server with huge amount of storage capacity. MHCA also good at the security side because its provide the login form with userID and password, so only authorized person can access this program. MHCA also provide data report to make hardware and software failure complain for each store or for each PIC (Person In Charge) that handle the problems. For future development, MHCA needs to divide the access rights for every users.
