Hardware and software technologies always increase every time. There are never been separated each other. Software which includes operating systems and applications makes its use to control hardware. The hardware never optimally utilized without software integration. Before one can use software, an installation process must take place. Most of the installation process still done manually which is neither efficient nor effective. A better method is needed to do the installation process. Remote Installation Services (RIS) is a facility that can perform simultaneous installation of a single operating system and can be found in Windows Server 2003. For enhanced RIS, Almeza Multiset Software is used to perform automatic application installation. RIS can be worked by installing and configuring the Windows Server components such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and also RIS itself. At first, choose the component from the Windows Server 2003 CD. Finally, configure all Windows Server components and record the software installation steps in Almeza Multiset. The result of RIS implementation is a server that can perform installation to client computer from network. The client computer is booting from network and RIS doing the operating system installation automatically. Then Almeza doing the software installation.
