The development of electronic commerce transactions (e-commerce) in Indonesia is very rapid at this time. Many businesses conducting e-commerce transactions, follow the development of information and telecommunications media. This invites enthusiasm, especially in the field of commerce through the internet media. However, in the process of organizing e-commerce transactions is precisely put forward some business actors apply the transfer of responsibility through the standard clause listed in the website. Based on this, the writing is done with the problem of legal protection to the consumer on the application of standard clause in e-commerce transactions and arrangement of the application of the standard clause. The results of the study obtained writing on these issues, namely the regulations related to the use of standard clauses in e-commerce transactions has been provided in general in the Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, where it is more inclined to the application of the exoneration clause. Furthermore, related consumer protection in e-commerce transactions should be more attention, given the rapid growth of trade through these transactions. The government is possible to form Reliability Certification Bodies and / or to increase the efficiency can be established online dispute resolution, adding mediation preexisting. / Perkembangan transaksi electronic commerce (e-commerce) di Indonesia sangat pesat saat ini. Banyak pelaku usaha yang menyelenggarakan transaksi ecommerce, mengikuti perkembangan media informasi dan telekomunikasi. Hal ini mengundang antusiasme, khususnya di bidang perdagangan melalui media internet. Namun, pada prosesnya penyelenggaraan transaksi e-commerce ini justru mengedepankan beberapa pelaku usaha menerapkan pengalihan tanggung jawab melalui klausula baku yang dicantumkan di dalam websitenya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penulisan dilakukan dengan permasalahan tentang perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen atas penerapan klausula baku dalam transaksi e-commerce dan pengaturan penerapan klausula baku tersebut. Adapun hasil penulisan didapatkan kajian atas permasalahan tersebut, yaitu pengaturan terkait penggunaan klausula baku dalam transaksi e-commerce telah diatur secara umum di dalam Undang-undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, dimana hal tersebut lebih condong ke dalam penerapan klausula eksonerasi. Selanjutnya, terkait perlindungan konsumen dalam transaksi e-commerce harus lebih diperhatikan, mengingat semakin pesatnya perkembangan perdagangan melalui transaksi tersebut. Pemerintah dimungkinkan untuk membentuk Lembaga Sertifikasi Keandalan dan/atau guna efisiensi dapat dibentuk penyelesaian sengketa secara online, menambahkan upaya penyelesaian sengketa yang telah ada sebelumnya
