Abstract

Remote access is very crucial for company that own Data Center where there are servers and another networking devices from different vendors, and it is also crucial for company that has several branch in different city and territory because with many product of networking devices recently and the location of every branch, remote access implementation can make IT administrator’s work a lot more easier so that he/she does not always stay in Data Center. Furthermore, the advantages of remote access implementation with KVM over IP are time thriftiness and provide access to multiple platforms within one switching system. Remote access implementation with KVM over IP will study the teory that used in implementation remote access and the implementation include the analysis based on that implementation. KVM can be connected to I/O port from different system and provide centralized access from several servers with only from one workstation. KVM over IP menawarkan flexibility and scalability for Data Center. KVM Over IP will have a good prospect in the future to monitoring all devices in the Data Center, so it is reasonable to explore and develop lebih lanjut with Video Viewer View that has higher video performance.
