PT. Multipolar is a big company which always aims for the best; therefore it took many ways in order to always increases its quality of work, PT. Multipolar also gives bonuses for their employees based on their performance monthly. The aim of the bonus is to make the employees more active and creative in their work. The developing program that’s being used by PT Multipolar before using the “Program Bonus” is by using Microsoft Excel. This Developing program has many defect, some of the defects are; the limited amount of employees that could be handled in a worksheet. Long delay time of input of employees into the worksheet because of manual ways. Not enough surveillance to the usage of the program. It’s hard to manage the values and methods that influence the bonus counting dynamically. By overseeing the defect that cause by the inadequate use of Microsoft Excel, PT. Multipolar decided to move forward its program by using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 as its database into full use.
