Abstract
Monitoring Technology has become very needed by people around the world. The most advanced monitoring system in existence nowadays utilizes the use of GPS, which stands for Global Positioning System. The main purpose of the research is to create a prototype of mobile monitoring system which utilizes the use of GPS technology to locate and follow an object’s movement. The system is designed to be able to receive and save GPS data; the object’s movement is then shown in the computer. The prototype of mobile monitoring system has accomplished the intended results. The system has succeeded in locating and monitoring the object carrying the GPS receiver.
