Web Based SNMP Protocol is SNMP version one simulator software. This software simulates the work flow and basic functions of SNMP protocol in data retrieval. This software is developed using Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver with an attractive and easy to learn display. There are two modes are provided in this software. These modes differentiate in how the information about MIB is defined. In the first mode, the information about MIB is defined in syntax programs (using the default values). On the other hand, in the second mode, the information about MIB can be freely defined by user. The software’s display is categorized into four pages. They are profile pages, help pages, tutorial pages, and project pages. By using the simulator program, the user can acknowledge the work flow and the type of data that he/she can retrieved from the SNMP protocol. This simulator software successfully run in local network or inter network. Furthermore the software has a user friendly result display.
