Abstract

Teachers has important role in defining the quality of education. Therefore, the main reason of doing the performance assessment is maintaining, even improving, the quality of education. Spiritual leadership and emotional intelligence of the principal have important role in developing teachers’ motivation that lead to the increasing of teachers’ job performance. The goal of this research is to know the positive effect of spiritual leadership, the principal’s emotional intelligence, and teachers’ motivation to teachers’ job performance. The research itself uses quantitative approach with PATH Analysis to find out the coefficient effect of each of the variables. Survey method using questionnaire is used in order to collect the data. The questionnaires were given to 50 teachers in Dian Harapan School Daan Mogot as the whole population. The result from the research stated that spiritual leadership of the principal have a positive effect to teachers’ motivation and job performance in Dian Harapan Elementary School Daan Mogot. Whereas emotional intelligence of the principal has no effect to teachers’ motivation and job performance in Dian Harapan Elementary School Daan Mogot. / Kinerja guru memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, alasan utama dilakukannya penilaian kinerja guru adalah untuk mempertahankan, bahkan meningkatkan, kualitas pendidikan. Kepemimpinan rohani dan kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah memegang peranan penting di dalam membangun motivasi guru sehingga dapat memiliki pengaruh pada kinerja guru di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif kepemimpinan rohani, kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah, dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja para guru. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis jalur untuk mengetahui pengaruh koefisien dari masing-masing variabel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner. Penelitian diuji dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 50 guru yang ada di Sekolah Dian Harapan Daan Mogot. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan rohani kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Dian Harapan Daan Mogot. Sementara kecerdasan emosional kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru.
