Abstract

The establishment of an organization that has a vision and mission set. Thus schools, all activities to provide the best education for learners. For that it is important that there are reliable leaders and educators in order to work together in to run the school. In work, principals and teachers are intimately linked to each other. Leadership of principals is impossible without teachers, whereas teachers need leadership that directs them. Therefore, this study can be done to see whether transformational leadership and communication competence of principals have an influence on teacher motivation and performance in primary school SLH Curug. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the subject of research 24 respondents. Method of data processing using analysis of Anova and descriptive analysis. From the results of the research conducted (1) transformational leadership of the headmaster is not effects school to teacher's motivation, (2) transformational leadership effects teacher performance, (3) headmaster’s communication competence has no effect on teacher motivation, (4) headmaster’s communication competence has a positive effect on teacher performance, (5) transformational leadership and headmaster communication competence are not effect teacher motivation, (6) transformational leadership and headmaster communication competence ara effect teacher performance. / Berdirinya sebuah organisasi bertujuan mencapai visi dan misi yang telah ditetapkan. Demikian halnya sekolah, semua aktivitas bertujuan untuk menyajikan pendidikan yang terbaik bagi peserta didik. Untuk itu penting adanya kepemimpinan dan tenaga pendidik yang handal sehingga mampu bekerja sama dalam untuk menjalankan sekolah. Dalam bekerja, kepala sekolah dan guru saling berkaitan erat satu sama lain. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah tidak mungkin ada tanpa guru-guru, sebaliknya guru-guru membutuhkan kepemimpinan yang mengarahkan mereka. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompetensi komunikasi kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh terhadap motivasi dan kinerja guru di sekolah dasar SLH Curug. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan subjek penelitian 24 responden. Metode pengolahan data menggunakan analisis Anova dan analisis deskriptif. Dari penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan (1) kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi guru, (2) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru, (3) kompetensi komunikasi kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi guru, (4) kompetensi komunikasi berpengaruh posistif terhadap kinerja guru, (5) kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompetensi komunikasi kepala sekolah tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi guru, (6) kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompetensi komunikasi berpengaruh posistif terhadap kinerja guru.
