Abstract

Kelangkaan bahan bakar merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi di Indonesia. Hal ini mendorong banyaknya kasus pencurian bahan bakar kendaraan. Sebagai solusi alternatif untuk permasalahan ini, telah dibuat suatu sistem pendeteksi pencurian bahan bakar kendaraan berbasis Arduino. Sistem pendeteksi pencurian bahan bakar kendaraan berbasis Arduino merupakan prototipe yang menggunakan Arduino UNO sebagai mikrokontroler, IComSat v1.1 SIM900 GSM/GPRS Shield untuk berkomunikasi dengan telepon genggam, sensor level sebagai pendeteksi perubahan volume, dan push button sebagai pendeteksi tutup tangki dalam keadaan tertutup atau terbuka. Prinsip kerja sistem ini adalah mendeteksi keadaan tutup tangki. Ketika tutup tangki terbuka sistem akan melakukan panggilan telepon. Lalu, sistem akan melakukan pencatatan volume bahan bakar. Apabila terjadi penurunan volume drastis, maka sistem akan mengirimkan informasi level penurunan volume dalam bentuk pesan singkat kepada pemilik kendaraan. Tingkat keberhasilan sistem dalam berkomunikasi antara Arduino UNO dengan alat elektronika lainnya adalah 100%. Akurasi sensor level adalah 90%. Tingkat keberhasilan push button switch dalam mendeteksi keadaan tutup tangki adalah 100%. Tingkat keberhasilan GSM Shield adalah 90%. / Fuel shortage is a common problem in Indonesia. This prompted many cases of vehicle fuels theft. As an alternative solution to this problem, an Arduino-based vehicle fuels theft detector system is implemented. Arduino-based vehicle fuels theft detector system is a prototype that uses an Arduino UNO as a microcontroller, IComSat v1.1 SIM900 GSM/GPRS Shield to communicate with mobile phones, level sensor as a volume detector, and the push button as a detector to check whether the tank’s lid is open or closed. The working principle of this system is to detect the state of the tank lid. When the tank’s lid is open the system will make a phone call. Then, the system will keep records of fuel volume. If there is a drastic decreasing in volume, the system will send information about the decreasing volume in the form of a short message to the owner of the vehicle. The success rate of the communication system between the Arduino UNO with other electronic devices is 100%. Accuracy of level sensor is 90%. Success rate of push button switch in detecting the state of tank’s lid is 100%. Success rate of GSM Shield is 90%.
