Abstract

The development of science and technology has become faster and faster from time to time. One of them is computer development. An important aspect in computer development is the security of data transmission. In this paper, VPN technology will be discussed. VPN provide a secure tunnel to do data transmission in reality insecure networks. Four VPN protocols like IPSec, L2TP, PPTP, and Phion VPN will also be discussed one by one, also with each advantages and disadvantages. Those protocols will also be compared one by one and result the conclusion.
