Abstract

The implementation of the EWS clinic response can be influenced by several factors such as workload factors, equipment availability, knowledge and environment. This study aims to analyze factors related to the implementation of EWS in Private Hospitals in Central Indonesia. This research is a quantitative research that uses correlational research design with total sampling technique. The study sample was 55 respondents. Based on univariate analysis, 54.5% of respondents carried out clinical responses according to operational standards. Based on non-conducive work environment factors, 58.2% were obtained, the light workload factor was 63.6%, inadequate equipment availability factor was 61.8%, and the knowledge factor of respondents was still insufficient as much as 61.8%. Based on the bivariate test with Chi-Square test obtained environmental factors have no relationship (p = 0.261), workload has no relationship (p = 0.818), equipment availability has no relationship (p = 0.276) and knowledge has no relationship (p = 0.276 ) Subsequent research should be done to more respondents and use observation methods to see the implementation of clinical responses more thoroughly.
