Abstract

Motivasi merupakan dorongan mental yang menggerakkan dan mengarahkan perilaku manusia, termasuk perilaku perawat dalam menerapkan prinsip enam benar pemberian obat. Penerapan tersebut bertujuan untuk mencapai kesembuhan dan kesejahteraan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi perawat dalam menerapkan prinsip enam benar pemberian obat di satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia bagian Tengah tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat pelaksana yang bertugas di nurse station 5.2, 5.3, dan 5.4 sebanyak 49 orang. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 42 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang peneliti gunakan adalah total sampling. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa, motivasi perawat dalam pemberian obat mendapatkan hasil rendah dengan persentase 55%. Disarankan bagi rumah sakit untuk memberikan penghargaan bagi perawat yang sudah rajin atau bekerja sesuai dengan standart operasional rumah sakit. Hal ini bertujuan agar memotivasi perawat, sehingga meningkatkan kinerja perawat dalam melaksanakan tugas khususnya dalam pemberian obat = Motivation is a mental impulse that moves and directs human behavior, including nurse behavior in applying the principle of six right giving medications. This application is to achieve the patient's healing and well-being. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of nurse's motivation in applying the principle of six right giving medications in one Private Hospital in Central Indonesia in 2018. This research used descriptive quantitative as a method with cross sectional design. The population in this research is all nurses who operate on the nurse station 5.2, 5.3, and 5.4 as much 49 nurses. Sampling was taken by total sampling method as many 49 nurses respondent. Based on this research, nurse’s motivation is low with percentage of 55%. Researchers suggest to the hospital to reward the nurses who have been working in accordance with the hospital's operational standards. It aims to motivate and improving the performance of nurses in performing tasks, especially in giving medications.
