Abstract

Tindakan pembedahan merupakan ancaman potensial maupun aktual terhadap integritas seseorang yang dapat membangkitkan reaksi stres fisiologis maupun psikologis. Respon kecemasan merupakan sesuatu yang sering muncul pada pasien yang akan menjalani operasi / pra operasi, hal ini dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan komunikasi terapeutik. Data yang didapatkan di satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia Barat tercatat ada 292 tindakan cito operasi yang dilakukan selama tahun 2017 dan 53 tindakan cito untuk 3 bulan terakhir terhitung sejak Januari hingga Maret 2018. Tingginya angka operasi pada salah satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Barat diikuti dengan tingginya pembatalan operasi dikarenakan takut, cemas ataupun kurangnya kesiapan pasien menghadapi tindakan operasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengalaman perawat menggunakan komunikasi terapeutik dalam kasus pra operasi di satu rumah sakit swasta Indonesia Barat. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei-Juli 2018 di ruang operasi Rumah Sakit Swasta Indonesia Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologi, data yang diperoleh dari wawancara dianalisis dengan metode colaizzi. Partisipan dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling n=7 perawat ruang operasi yang memiliki pengalaman menangani pasien operasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perawat paham tentang komunikasi terapeutik, semakin sering dan jelas melakukan komunikasi terapeutik, maka semakin kurang kejadian kecemasan pada pasien. Pada akhirnya kecemasan yang rendah akan mempercepat proses pelaksanaan operasi = Surgical is a potential and actual threat to the integrity of a person who can generate physiological and psychological stress reactions. Anxiety response is something that often arises in patients who will undergo surgery / preoperative, this can be overcome by using therapeutic communication. Data obtained at Non Government Hospital in Western Indonesia recorded 292 cito operations performed during 2017 and 53 cito acts for the last 3 months from January to March 2018. The high number of surgery in one of Non Government Hospital in Western Indonesia followed by high cancellation of surgery due to fear, anxiety or lack of readiness of patients facing surgery. This study aims to determine the experience of nurses using therapeutic communication in the case of preoperative operations at a Non Government Hospital in Western Indonesia. The study was conducted in May-July 2018 in the operating room of Non Government Hospital in Western Indonesia. This research used qualitative method of phenomenology, data obtained from interviews were analyzed by colaizzi method. Participants were selected using purposive sampling n=7 operating room nurses who have experience handling surgery patients. The results show that the nurse understands therapeutic communication, the more frequent and clear therapeutic communication, the less incidence of anxiety in patients. In the end, low anxiety will speed up the process of implementing the operation.
