Faktor-faktor medication error dari perawat ruang rawat inap dalam memberikan obat kepada pasien di rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia barat menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk diteliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor medication error dari persepsi perawat ruang rawat inap di rumah sakit swasta Indonesia Barat dan menurunkan angka kejadian medication errors di rumah sakit. Metode penelitian, menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat di rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia barat yang berjumlah 33 orang dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling dalam pengambilan sampel yang berjumlah 33 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada faktor personal sebesar 18,2% perawat memilih setuju, faktor manajemen didapatkan sebesar 27,3% dan faktor lingkungan perawat memiliki persepsi setuju sebesar 33,3%. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata faktor lingkungan menduduki posisi tertinggi dengan skor rata-rata 3,48 diikuti dengan faktor manajemen dengan skor rata-rata 3,15 dan faktor personal dengan skor rata-rata 3,03. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya yaitu tidak hanya dengan melihat gambaran namun juga hubungan antara faktor-faktor = The medication error factors from nurses inpatient care in giving medicine to patients in private hospitals in western Indonesia are very important to be studied. The population in this study were nurses in private hospitals in western Indonesia, amounting to 33 people using total sampling technique in a sample of 33 people. This study uses a questionnaire as an instrument. The results showed that the personal factors amounted to 18.2% nurses chose to agree, management factors were obtained at 27.3% and nurses' environmental factors had an agreed perception of 33.3%. Based on the average value of environmental factors occupy the highest position with an average score of 3.48 followed by management factors with an average score of 3.15 and personal factors with an average score of 3.03. The suggestion for the next researcher is not only by looking at the picture but also the relationship between the factors.
