Abstract

Latar Belakang: International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) merupakan suatu bagian dari standar akreditasi rumah sakit yang harus diterapkan di rumah sakit yang beguna dalam meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas. Dalam IPSG membahas tentang komunikasi terapeutik. Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan komponen yang sangat penting yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang perawat untuk berkomunikasi dengan pasien khususnya di bidang kesehatan. Tanpa komunikasi yang baik, tenaga kesehatan tidak mampu mengetahui kebutuhan dan keinginan pasien. Peran perawat sangat penting dalam setiap tindakan pembedahan baik pada masa sebelum, selama, maupun setelah operasi. Salah satu yaitu dengan memberikan komunikasi yang terapeutik terhadap pasien preoperasi.Studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti di Satu Rumah Sakit Swasta di Indonesia Bagian Barat dari Januari–Desember 2017 didapatkan data sebanyak 2921 pasien yang menjalani operasi. Sedangkan pada Januari–Maret 2018 sebanyak 752 pasien yang menjalani operasi. Dengan rata-rata jumlah operasi yang dilakukan adalah 243 per bulan. Tujuan: Menganalisis gambaran komunikasi terapeutik perawat pada pasien pre operasi di Satu Rumah Sakit Swasta di Indonesia Bagian Barat. Metode: Dekriptif kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini populasinya adalah pasien pre operasi yang ada di Rumah Sakit Swasta di Indonesia Barat. Dengan jumlah responden yang akan diambil 71 pasien. Hasil: sebagian besar (91.6%) komunikasi terapeutik perawat pada pasien pre operasi dikategorikan baik. Sebagian besar (90.1%) komunikasi terapeutik perawat pada fase pra interaksi termasuk baik. Lebih dari setengah (59.2%) komunikasi terapeutik perawat pada fase orientasi termasuk baik. Lebih dari setengah (57.7%) komunikasi terapeutik perawat pada fase kerja termasuk baik. Lebih dari setengah (56.4%) komunikasi terapeutik perawat pada fase terminasi termasuk baik. Saran: Peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengobservasi langsung terjadi komunikasi terapeutik perawat pada pasien pre operasi agar mendapatkan hal yang lebih konkrit = Background: International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) is a part of the hospital's accreditation standards that must be applied in hospitals in order to improve quality health services. In its contents also IPSG discuss about therapeutic communication. Therapeutic communication is an important component a nurse must have to communicate with patients especially in the health field. The role of the nurse is very important in any surgical action either before, during, or after surgery. One of them is by providing therapeutic communication to preoperative patients. Preliminary study conducted by researchers at One Private Hospital in West Of Indonesia from January to December 2017 got an data of 2921 patients who underwent surgery. While in January-March 2018 as many as 752 patients who underwent surgery. With the average number of operations performed is 243 per month. Objective: To analyze the descriptionn therapeutic nurse communication in patients before operation at one Private Hospital in West Indonesia. Method: decryption quantitative with sampling method that is purposive sampling. In this study population is preoperative patient in Private Hospital in West Indonesia. With the number of respondents to be taken 71 patients. Result: most (91.6%) of nurses' therapeutic communication in preoperative patients were categorized as good. Most (90.1%) of the therapeutic communication of nurses in the pre-interaction phase included good. More than half (59.2%) of nurse therapeutic communication in the orientation phase included good. More than half (57.7%) of nurse therapeutic communication in the work phase included good. More than half (56.4%) of nurses' therapeutic communication in the termination phase included good. Suggestion: Researchers suggest to the next researcher to observe directly the therapeutic communication of nurses occurs in patients with preoperative to get more concrete things.
