Bankruptcy is general confiscation to all the wealth of bankruptcy debtor which the management and the settlement conducted by curators under the supervision of the supervisory judge. For the sale of immovable property, in order to comply with regulation regarding the assignment of rights to land and buildings, the curators need authorization of a notary as PPAT to issue Sale and Purchase Deed that can be used by a third party (buyer) in the change of name process. This research is a normative-juridical research. Normative-juridical research is a research conducted by researching library materials or secondary data. Normativejuridical research includes a reserach of the principles of law as well as a research of the level of vertical and horizontal synchronization. As a normative research, this research is based on analysis of the rule of law, either in the legislation, nor the law in court decisions, and it can be concluded that the authority of the board of directors of PT. UE ASSA ended by law following the bankruptcy of PT. ASSA UE, where the authority of board of directors assigned to the curator throughout the authority of board of directors relating to the management and ownership actions of insolvent wealth of PT. UE ASSA. / Kepailitan adalah sita umum atas semua kekayaan debitor pailit yang pengurusan dan pemberesannya dilakukan oleh kurator di bawah pengawasan hakim pengawas. Untuk penjualan harta tidak bergerak, maka untuk memenuhi ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan mengenai peralihan hak atas tanah dan bangunan, maka kurator memerlukan kewenangan notaris sebagai PPAT untuk menerbitkan Akta Jual Beli yang nantinya dapat dijadikan oleh pihak ketiga (pembeli) dalam proses balik nama. Penelitian ini merupakan suatu penelitian yuridis-normatif. Penelitian yuridisnormatif adalah penelitian hukum yang dilakukan dengan cara meneliti bahan pustaka atau data sekunder belaka. Penelitian yuridis- normatif tersebut mencakup penelitian terhadap asas-asas hukum serta penelitian terhadap taraf sinkronisasi vertikal dan horizontal. Sebagai suatu penelitian normatif, maka penelitian ini berbasis pada analisis norma hukum, baik hukum dalam peraturan perundangundangan, maupun hukum dalam berbagai putusan pengadilan, dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kewenangan Direksi PT. UE ASSA demi hukum berakhir dengan dipailitkannya PT. UE ASSA tersebut, dimana kewenangan direksi beralih kepada kurator sepanjang kewenangan direksi berkaitan dengan kepengurusan dan perbuatan pemilikan harta kekayaan PT. UE ASSA yang pailit.
