Abstract

Latar Belakang: EWS telah diterapkan banyak rumah sakit di Inggris terutama National Health Service, Royal College of Physicians yang telah merekomendasikan National Early Warning Score (NEWS) sebagai standarisasi untuk penilaian penyakit akut. Peneliti mendapatkan data kejadian code blue dari catatan petugas di FCC. Dari catatan tersebut, didapati ada delapan kejadian code blue dari bulan Januari sampai Maret, dibandingkan dengan tahun 2017 yang keseluruhannya ada sembilan kejadian. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada 39 integrated notes pasien, 15 integrated notes tidak terdapat dokumentasi EWS. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran perilaku perawat dalam pengkajian Early Warning Score di ruang rawat inap lantai 2,5, dan 6 di rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia Barat. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriprif bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran dan informasi tentang perilaku perawat dalam pengkajian Early Warning Score di ruang rawat inap lantai 2,5, dan 6 di rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia Barat. Populasi :Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat diruang rawat inap lantai 2,5, dan 6. Sampel: Jumlah sampel yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 41 perawat menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian: Analisa data univariat dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku pengkajian EWS oleh perawat di ruang rawat inap lantai 2,5, dan 6 di rumah sakit swasta di Indonesia Barat yaitu 37 (90,2%) perawat berperilaku baik, empat (9,8%) berperilaku cukup, dan nol perawat berperilaku kurang. Saran: Bagi perawat di ruang rawat inap agar parameter EWS tetap dipakai dalam pengkajian EWS dan tetap mempertahankan perilaku baik dalam melakukan pengkajian EWS = Background EWS has applied many hospitals in the UK especially the National Health Service, the Royal College of Physicians who have recommended National Early Warning Scores (NEWS) as standardization for the assessment of acute illness. We found code blue data from officer records at FCC. From the note, there were eight code blue incidents from January to March, compared to 2017 with a total of nine events. Purpose: To know the description Attitude of assesment the Early Warning Score by nurses in inpatient rooms of 2nd, 5th, and 6th floor in private hospital at Western Indonesia. Method: This research uses descriptive quantitative method aimed to get description and information about Attitude of Assesment the Early Warning Score by nurses in inpatient ward 2nd, 5th, and 6th floor in private hospital in Western Indonesia. Population: The target population in this study were the nurses in the inpatient rooms in the 2nd, 5th, and 6th floor. Samples: The number of samples required in this study amounted to 41 nurses using total sampling. Results: Univariate analysis of data can conclude that the attitude of assesment the EWS by nurses in inpatients at 2,5 and 6th floor in private hospitals in West Indonesia is 37 (90.2%) nurses have good attitude, four (9.8 %) nurses have moderate attitude, and zero nurse have less attitude. Suggestion: To nurses in inpatient department can still use EWS parameters and maintain good attitude in doing the assesment of EWS.
