Abstract

Hospitalisasi anak atau biasa disebut perawatan pada anak merupakan suatu keadaan dimana anak yang sakit harus dirawat di satu rumah sakit, sehingga anak harus beradaptasi dengan lingkungannya yang baru di satu rumah sakit. Reaksi pada anak yang dilakukan hospitalisasi biasanya sedih dan takut, anak juga merasa tidak nyaman dan merasa tidak aman. Hal ini menyebabkan kecemasan dan depresi tersendiri bagi orang tua. Biasanya, orang tua akan menjadi cemas karena mendapat penjelasan tentang penyakit anaknya, takut dengan tindakan keperawatan yang dilakukan pada anaknya, ketika anaknya berpotensi untuk meninggal, serta konsekuensi jangka panjang yang harus diderita oleh anaknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis gambaran tingkat kecemasan orang tua terhadap hospitalisasi anak di In-Patient Department (IPD). Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitaf, dengan pengambilan data kuantitatif adalah kuesioner. Sampel penelitian adalah 37 orang tua yang anaknya dirawat di satu rumah sakit Swasta di Indonesia Bagian Barat dengan metode accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan mayoritas orang tua tidak memiliki kecemasan terhadap anak yang dirawat di satu rumah sakit 54,1%. Responden dengan jenis kelamin perempuan memiliki tingkat kecemasan lebih tinggi 64,9%. Untuk usia responden dengan umur 30-39 tahun memiliki tingkat kecemasan yang lebih tinggi 75,7%. Persentase 54.1%. Diharapkan perawat dapat lebih peka terhadap keadaan orang tua yang anaknya sedang menjalani hospitalisasi, terutama bagi orangtua yang anaknya baru pertama kali sakit dan harus dirawat dirumah sakit sehingga perawat dapat membantu orangtua untuk mengatasi kecemasan yang dialami = Child's hospitalization is a condition where child should be admitted at the hospital, so that the child must adapted with the new environment at the hospital. The reaction of the children in hospitalization usually sad and afraid, child also feeled not comfort and feel unsafty. This condition causes anxiety and depression for parents. Usually, parents will be afraid because get explained about the child's condition, aftraid of the nursing intervantion that happen to the child, when the child potentially die, and the long-term consequence that will be happen to their child. The purpose of this study is to analized the description level of parent’s anxiety with child’s hospitalization in In-Patient Department (IPD). The research method used is quantitative, with quantitative data collection is a questionnaire. The sample of this research was 37 parents whose children were treated in Private Hospital in Western Indonesia by accidental sampling method. The results obtained the majority of parents do not have anxiety for children who are hospitalized 54.1%. Respondents with female gender had higher anxiety 64.9%. For the age of respondents with age 30-39 years had higher anxiety 75.7%. It is expected that nurses can be more sensitive to the condition of parents whose children are undergoing hospitalization, especially for parents who have children are sick for the first time and must be hospitalized so that nurses can help parents to overcome the anxiety experienced.
