Abstract
As an educational institution that teaches Christian values, Christian
schools can play a role in building the character of the nation through education
and science in accordance with Christian values. It is necessary for human
resources who have committed to run it. The level of work engagement is
influenced by various factors such as climate and the leadership of the
organization, as well as employee satisfaction. Therefore, this study aimed to
determine the effect of serving leadership, organizational culture and job
satisfaction on work engagement. The research subjects were 63 teachers at
junior high and senior high level at private Christian school located in West
Jakarta. The study design used is path analysis with quantitative approach
through PLS-SEM method. The results obtained showed that the leadership
airport positive effect on job satisfaction and work engagement, as well as
organizational culture positive effect on job satisfaction and work engagement. / Sebagai sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang mengajarkan nilai-nilai
kekristenan, Sekolah Kristen dapat berperan dalam membangun karakter bangsa
melalui pendidikan dan ilmu pengetahuan yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai
kekristenan. Untuk itu diperlukan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki komitmen
tinggi untuk menjalankannya. Tingkat work engagement dipengaruhi oleh
berbagai faktor seperti kepemimpinan dan budaya dari organisasi tersebut, serta
kepuasan kerja karyawan. Karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
pengaruh kepemimpinan melayani, budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja
terhadap work engagement guru. Adapun subjek penelitian adalah 63 guru pada
tingkat SMP dan SMA di salah satu sekolah swasta Kristen yang berada di
Jakarta Barat. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan
pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode PLS-SEM. Hasil yang diperoleh
menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan melayani berpengaruh positif terhadap
kepuasan kerja dan juga work engagement, begitu juga budaya organisasi
berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan work engagement.
