Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pelayanan asuhan keperawatan dapat berdampak terhadap kepuasan pasien dan keluarga dalam praktik keperawatan. Perawat mempunyai peran dalam melakukan pengkajian dari awal pasien masuk, sampai pasien pulang. Pengkajian dilakukan agar dapat memperoleh data yang akurat dari pasien akan tetapi beberapa kejadian dirumah sakit kadang tidak diperhatikan misalnya, pasien jatuh pada saat mendapatkan pelayanan di rumah sakit. Sehingga pengkajian resiko jatuh merupakan langkah awal dari program pengurangan resiko pasien jatuh di ruang rawat inap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Gambaran Motivasi Perawat Dalam Melakukan Pengkajian Resiko Jatuh di Ruang Rawat Inap Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskritif, dengan teknik total sampling dan menggunakan metode pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua perawat di ruang rawat inap Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo dengan jumlah 27 orang, dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, proses analisa data terdiri dari editing, coding, scoring. Berdasarkan hasil menunjukan bahwa motivasi perawat Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo memiliki motivasi, yang tinggi dengan hasil (82%) akan tetapi sesuai dengan hasil pengamatan peneliti berbeda dengan hasil yang di dapatkan sehingga peneliti menyimpukan bahwa motivasi perawat Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo masih dalam kategori sedang di atas (60%) / Background: nursing care Services may have affected patient and families’ satisfaction in nursing practice. Nurses have role in conducting assessments of the initial patient, start fromm the patient admitted until discharged. Assessmet conducted in order to obtain an accurate data of the patients. However, some incident in hospital are not well managed, for example patient with high risk fall when receiving nursing care in hospital. Therefore, the high-risk fall assessment is the first step of the program's to reduce falls in inpatient ward. The objective of this study is to know the description of nurses’ Motivation in assessing fall risk in the Inpatient Room Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo. This study use quantitative deskritif method with the total sampling techniques and using the method of cross-sectional approach. The population of this research are all nurses in inpatient Siloam Hospital Labuan Bajo with number of 27 people, and the collection of data using questionnaires, process data analysis consists of editing, coding, scoring. Based on the results showed that the motivation of nurses Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo has a high motivation, with the results (82%) However, in accordance with the observations of the researchers in contrast to results obtained so that the researchers conclude that the motivation of nurses Siloam Hospitals Labuan Bajo are still in the category was over (60%)
