The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Earning per Share, and company size on stock return both partially and simultaneously, in insurance companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Signaling theory is used as the grand theory to solve the problem in this research.The research method used is quantitative method. Sample is taken by using purposive sampling method and the sample consists of 9 companies. The data are collected by using documentation technique. Data analysis method is done with multiple linear regression analysis, descriptive statistic, classical assumption test, t test, F test and coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²).The results of this research indicates that partially Return on Equity has significant effect on stock return of insurance companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange while Debt to Equity Ratio, Earning per Share and company size do not have significant effect on stock return of insurance companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Simultaneously, Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Earning per Share and company size do not have significant effect on stock return of insurance companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange.The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) value is 0.017 or 1.7%. Thus, it is recommended to future researcher to use other industries as the sample and add other variables that are not included in this research.
