The knowledge of understanding the Banking firm characteristics are very important in order to investment decision making. The research that has been done on Banking firms are still very small to prove whether the firm characteristics does have effect on firm value in stock market in Indonesia. The objective of this study is to know whether liquidity, leverage, operating efficiency, size, and growth has effect on firm value in banking companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study will be conducted on banking firms that has been listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2015 throughout 2017. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using secondary data in the form of financial statements. Using purposive sampling method, out of total population of 37 companies, 18 companies were selected as sample. The analysis method in this research is the multiple regression model. The results of this research indicate that liquidity has significant positive impact on firm value in banking companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Leverage has insignificant negative impact on firm value in banking companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Operating efficiency has positive significant impact on firm value in banking companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Size has insignificant negative impact on firm value in banking companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Growth has insignificant positive impact on firm value in banking companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
