The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Net Profit Margin and Return on Equity towards Financial Performance. This research is focusing on consumer goods industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) year 2015- 2017. This research is quantitative which is using secondary data obtained from company’s annual financial statements in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Method of sampling that is used in this research is purposive sampling, the samples chosen are 25 companies from 44 populations with total observation data of 75. The data analysis used in this research are descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and statistical analysis, namely multiple linear regression. Testing is done by using net income, sales and equity. The results of this research indicates that partially, Net Profit Margin has an insignificant effect towards Financial Performance, while Return on Equity has a significant positive effect towards Financial Performance. Simultaneous testing shows that independent variables, Net Profit Margin and Return on Equity have a significant effect towards the dependent variable, Financial Performance.
