Eksploitasi pemanfaatan teknologi oleh masyarakat menghadirkan konsekuensi baru, berupa menipisnya ruang privasi antar individu. Tipisnya ruang privasi tersebut terindikasi, dalam keleluasaan seseorang untuk mengakses atau mengetahui data pribadi milik orang lain, terlebih apabila data pribadi tersebut berada di ruang siber atau internet. Komputasi awan merupakan suatu teknologi yang berbasis internet yang mulai banyak digunakan oleh kalangan individumaupun korporasi. Komputasi awan merupakan on-demand services yang menarik untuk digunakan, karena menawarkan efisiensi dan efektivitas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa data pribadi dilarang untuk digunakan tanpa persetujuan pemilik data pribadi. Apabila terjadi penyalahgunaan, maka prinsipnya penyedia jasa komputasi awan harus bertanggung jawab kepada pemilim data pribadi, termasuk membayar ganti kerugian dan/atau dikenakan sanksi berdasarkan undnag-undang informasi dan transaksi elektronis sebagai hukum positif yang menjadi landasan bagi aktivitas komputasi awan. Adanya kejelasan mengenai tanggung jawab penyedia jasa tersebut, termasuk upaya hukum yang dapat ditempuh bila terjadi pelanggaran, kiranya dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan dan keyakinan bagi pengguna jasa komputasi awan. / The exploitation of the use of technology by society brings new consequences, in the form of depletion of privacy spaces between individuals. The thinness of the privacy space is indicated in the freedom of a person to access or know the personal data of other people, especially if the personal data is in cyberspace or the internet. Cloud computing is an internet-based technology that is starting to be widely used by individuals and corporations. Cloud computing is an on-demand service that is attractive to use, because it offers efficiency and effectiveness to meet people's needs. From the results of the study it can be concluded that personal data is prohibited from being used without the consent of the owner of the personal data. In the event of misuse, in principle, cloud computing service providers must be responsible to the owner of personal data, including paying compensation and / or being subject to sanctions based on the information law and electronic transactions as positive law which is the basis for cloud computing activities. The existence of clarity regarding the responsibilities of these service providers, including legal remedies that can be taken in the event of a violation, is likely to increase the trust and confidence of cloud computing service users.
