Abstract

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) adalah meningkatnya insiden infeksi pada populasi manusia secara global yang tidak dapat disembuhkan sama sekali dengan agen antimikroba apapun. AMR mencegah keefektivitasan pencegahan dan pengobatan dari infeksi yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, parasit, virus, dan fungi. Pasien yang terinfeksi mikroorganisme dengan AMR akan jauh lebih berisiko mengalami penundaan pemulihan, gagal pengobatan, dan bahkan kematian. Sebagai salah satu upaya mengurangi resistensi, pemberian antibiotik harus berdasarkan pola bakteri penyebab infeksi dan kepekaan bakteri terhadap antibiotik. Pemahaman yang baik akan profil mikroorganisme dan pola sensitivitas antimikroba dapat menjadi dasar pemberian antimikroba yang tepat yang dapat mencegah kejadian resistensi dan mengurangi tingkat kematian. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan penelitian untuk mengetahui profil mikroorganisme dan pola sensitivitasnya di Rumah Sakit Pendidikan Siloam pada Januari 2019 sampai dengan Juni 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi potong lintang terhadap 17928 sampel dari database Rumah Sakit Pendidikan Siloam periode Januari 2019 sampai dengan Juni 2020. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa mikroorganisme terbanyak di Rumah Sakit Pendidikan Siloam mencakup Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumanii, dan Candida albicans. Bakteri gram negatif secara keseluruhan memiliki sensitivitas paling tinggi terhadap antibiotik cefoperazone-sulbactam (84%), imipenem (78%), dan amikacin (77%). Bakteri gram positif secara keseluruhan memiliki sensitivitas paling tinggi terhadap antibiotik doxycycline (100%), linezolid (97%), dan tigecycline (97%). Candida spp. secara keseluruhan memiliki sensitivitas paling tinggi terhadap antifungal micafungin (98%), voriconazole (94%), dan flucytosine (90%)./Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is the ever increasing global infection in the human population that is incurable by any antimicrobial agents. AMR drastically lowers the effectiveness of treatment, causing severe health consequences like prolonged recovery, treatment failure, and even death. As one of the means to supress AMR, antibiotic administration must be based off of microorganism profile and its sensitivity pattern. With enough knowledge on microorganism profile and its sensitivity pattern, AMR can be supressed through responsible antibiotic administration. Therefore, the research is conducted to learn about the microorganism profile and its sensitivity pattern in Teaching Hospital Siloam from January 2019 until June 2020. This study is done using the cross-sectional method towards the 17928 samples extracted from the Teaching Hospital Siloam database during the period of January 2019 until June 2020. This study reveals the highest number of microorganisms in Teaching Hospital Siloam to be Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumanii, and Candida albicans. Gram negative bacteria possess highest sensitivity to cefoperazone-sulbactam (84%), imipenem (78%), and amikacin (77%). Gram positive bacteria is most sensitive to doxycycline (100%), linezolid (97%), and tigecycline (97%). Candida spp. has highest sensitivity to micafungin (98%), voriconazole (94%), and flucytosine (90%).
