Abstract
Sedangkan Candida spp. paling sensitif terhadap antifungal micafungin 96% dan voriconazole 97%./Infection most ofter occurs in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Antimicrobial resistance is one of the world’s problems and makes antimicrobial drugs less effective in the treatment of an infectious disease. Antimicrobial resistance usually occurs due to misuse of antimicrobials in dealing with infectious diseases. Microorganism pattern and antimicrobial sensitivity pattern are useful for directing clinicians in empirical therapy and preventing antimicrobial abuse so that resistance to antimicrobial drugs does not occur. Therefore, this research is conducted to identify the microorganism pattern and antimicrobial sensitivity pattern in Intensive Care Unit Teaching Hospital Siloam from January 2019 until June 2020. This study utilizes cross-sectional observational retrospective method toward the 498 samples extracted from the Teaching Hospital Siloam database during the periode of January 2019-June 2020. From 1341 isolates in this study, the most common microorganism found is Klebsiella pneumoniae 221(16%) and the most common specimen is sputum 905(67,48%). Gram negative bacteria has the highest sensitivity to cefoperazone/sulbactam 32%, amikacin 62%, and imipenem 59%. Gram positive bacteria has highest sensitivity to tigecycline 98%, doxycycline 95% and teicoplanin 91%. While Candida spp. has highest sensitivity to micafungin 96% and voriconazole 97%.
